When a Halesowen family found out a close relative would be moving in, they needed more than just an extra room. They needed a proper living space — somewhere that offered real independence while keeping the family close.

They came to us at Align Project Services with a clear vision: a self-contained side extension that would give their relative a private home within the family home. Access to the main house, but with the privacy and dignity of their own space.

It was a project that mattered — and we treated it that way.

What We Built

We designed and constructed a two-storey wrap-around extension to the side and rear of the property in Halesowen. The result is a thoughtfully planned living space that includes:

- Ground-floor living and kitchen area
- First-floor bedroom and bathroom
- Internal access door connecting to the main family home
- Matching exterior finish to blend seamlessly with the original property

The Build

The slate roof in particular is a standout feature — durable, attractive, and in keeping with the character of the existing property.

The Result

The family now have a home that truly works for everyone. Their relative has independence, comfort, and privacy — while staying close to the support of family. The extension has transformed how the whole household lives day to day.
